My name is Doug Stewart and I offer a simple, complete and affordable professional web design service creating quality websites for business and personal use.

I am based in Bournemouth, Dorset but offer web design nationally and internationally thanks to the internet.

I can design and build a simple and affordable website for you, whether it’s for  business or personal use.

Perhaps you know someone who can build a website or perhaps one of your family, friends or colleagues may have had a website built for them that has proved to be successful. But many people measure success in different ways.

It's not much point having a pretty website if NO traffic is coming to it especially if you're running a business.

And it's not much point having a business if you have NO website. Every business should have a website if, for no other reason, to let people know who you are, where you are and what it is you have to offer.

So what do you need to do next?

1. Decide on your Domain Name (www.yourdomainname.com/.co.uk)
A domain is a web address where customers can find your website, for example 'www.yourdomain.com.'. It is also useful for professional looking email addresses for example 'yourname@yourdomain.com.

2.Register Your Domain Name
Once you chose your Domain name, we then register it to make it yours. The best time to register your domain is before you print your business cards and stationery.

You might not want a website yet, you may only want an email address with your domain name. We can still register your domain before your business cards are printed.

Once registered it’s yours, no one else can take it away from you. We can still build your website at a later time. But it is advisable to sort your domain name ASAP as more and more names are being registered and you may not be able to get the one you want. I can advise you on this as well.

3. Choose a Style of Website
Contact me and tell me the type of layout and style you would like for your website. I will then design the site based on your selected suggestion or style.

4. Create the Content of Your Website
You will need to supply me with the full content of your website. Any significant changes to content after beginning the design stages of the website maybe subject to further charges and fees, so make sure all content submitted is final before proceeding with design of your website. Once design is approved by you, I will begin creating your website.

I will constantly update you on the progress to make sure you are happy with everything.

Timeframe for completion is up to 4 weeks depending on the size of project.

5. Web Hosting
Hosting is needed to store your website and email in a safe place. I will advise you on this and help you set up a hosting account.
